About the tiger touch fader wing paging

Hello community,
There is a thing that I can't find explanation for about the fader wing paging. Does the fader wing use existing pages and expand them for another 30 faders, buttons etc. or how does it work?
If you don't understand what I mean, I'll explain it here a little better.
Normally, without a fader wing, there are 60 playback pages, right?
So, when the fader wing is connected, it's used only to assign playbacks from the main console to itself so you can have page 1 and 2 on two rows of the wing and page 3 for example on the main console?
Or the existing 60 pages are just expanded for another 30 faders, which is better in my opinion?
Best regards,
