Copying Keyframe shapes from one Playback to another

There is probably a simple answer to this. I've been trying different ways to copy a Keyframe shape (movement, dimmer, color) from one Playback that it's recorded onto to another Playback that it is not.

If I know I'll use it again in a future part of a song then i will just record it to another Playback before I exit and close the effect editor window, but if I need it on future songs it would be nice to just go into a past song and copy it out instead of remaking it every time.

If the Playback has multiple effects on it and I just Record it and Merge to the Playback that I want it on then it will record most everything if not everything from that Playback even though I just want one Keyframe shape from it.

I have tried a number of different things. Thanks for the help!

There isn't a way of copying or including a single shape as such. The best option would be to toggle the attribute groups after pressing the Include button so that only FX/Shape is included. Once it is in the programmer you can delete the shapes you do not want either from the Shape menu or in the Effect Editor window.

Another alternative is to record the Keyframe shape to the Playback Workspace window when you create it. You can then Include it in the programmer, to copy/merge it to any other Playback, whenever you wish, along with anything else you want on that Playback.
