Try using Copy2008 to create the correct folder structure on the USB stick for the console to read it. It was designed for the Pearl 2008/2010 & Tiger consoles however I think it should help with the Pearl Expert Classic software as well.

If you have a Pearl Expert you you may wish to consider switching into Titan mode, for that you can use the Titan Simulator software for offline editing.

Copy2008 and the show file should be copied to the root (topmost) directory of the USB stick. Then run Copy2008 on your computer before using the stick in the console.

No, put both the show file and Copy2008 in the main/root directory of the USB drive (without going into any sub-directories/folders). With the USB stick connected to your PC, run Copy2008 and it will create the correct directory structure for the console to find and read the show file.

Please note that some of the older consoles may not work with larger, more advanced USB memory sticks. In such cases it is better to use USB sticks which are 2GB or less in size.
