Upgrading from Titan V8.1 to V10

Hi,

I'm currently running V8.1 on a Tiger Touch 2.
I want to upgrade to V10, but the only information I can find is about updating from V9.

How do I go about this?

You can go straight from 8 to 10. It's in the release notes under 'Upgrading from: Consoles 6.0 and above'.

I'd say (in that order):
- backup all your data (shows, personalities, licence). If you want to re-use some shows, make sure your have them as a proper full save
- apply ECN-204 (i.e. upgrade the BIOS): http://www.avolites.com/Portals/0/downl ... N-0204.pdf
- install Titan v10 (this is a Recovery, thus re-installing the entire system), install your licence (or apply for a new one)
- check for firmware updates
- update personality library
- re-import shows and personalities which you want to re-use

Note if you have any problems loading 8.1 shows into 10 then you might need to transition them through 9. The easiest way to do this would be to install v9 PC suite on a PC and load/save using the Titan Simulator.
