I have titan one, so I tried internal timecode programming and I've got how it worked.
But titan one doesn't support a midi port so I couldn't try midi timecode and don't know how it works.
Let's say i have a Titan Mobile and Repear in a Mac connected to the Titan Mobile by MIDI port.
I try to sync my shows and a song by midi timecodes from the Reaper.
I program all of my shows with particular time in the song.
I play a song in Reaper.
Reaper starts its timer and at the time it trigers Titan Mobile timer through MIDI port.
Titan Mobile timer trigers my shows in cue list. So they sync.
And MIDI data(like notes and velocity) from reaper are used just once(triger Titan Mobile timer).
Is it right?? Does Titan Mobile use MIDI data from Reaper in other way???

Re: Understanding MIDI Timecode
actiualy its not once but all the time, so if you speed up, slow down, jump to another part in the song, reaper will let the titan mobile know the new times.
its like the internal except reaper shouts out the times realy fast to the titan mobile thru midi.
I personaly preffer LTC because you can play the timecode with any music playing software

Titan (Mobile) can also take notes including their velocities and use them as triggers to fire playbacks and a variety of other actions however this is a different set of MIDI messages and is handled separately in both Titan and Reaper to MIDI timecode. You can use both systems at the same time running one or more cue lists to timecode and triggering other console actions like firing a single cue using notes.

Thanks for reply guys!!
I used to use my pearl tiger with a small midi keyboard to trigger playbacks. But never done timecode, I think i confused with midi timecode concept.
So, the timecode programming with LTC mean this??
1. Play a song with any music playing software while displaying the song's playing time.
2. Stop a particular time and record a cue.
3. Continue a song.
4. Go to 2nd step until end of the song.
5. Sync the song with cue lists. (How?? by winamp?? reaper??)
6. Play the song. It trigger cue lists.
Re: Understanding MIDI Timecode
LTC isn't realy a song, google it its an anoying beep.
LTC is timecode thru audio signals.
But what i do is make the song mono and put it on the left channel and the LTC mono on the right channel, that way i can save that audio track, play it with any player (winamp, reaper, even a cdj 2000 (thats how armin van buuren the famous dj timecodes his shows) and then give the left part of my output to the sound guy and plug the right part in my tt2.
