Titan Mobile, macro as flash

Postby honorpro » 17 Sep 2016, 00:49

I'm doing some gigs in the near future using the Titan Mobile console,
I was wondering if there is a way to make the macro buttons behave like a flash button.
Because now and as a default they are toggle buttons.

I appreciate pretty much any response, I would guess it is pretty obvious but I'm quite new with the console.

You can change the behaviour in user settings/key profiles.

I know it has something to with the keyprofiles, I just don't know exactly what to do and how to proceed.

There are a number of ways of going about it:

- Avo+[Edit Current Key Profile]
- Enter a name for the profile and select [Add]
- Press one of the macro keys to shortcut to options for the handle type depending on content (for example cue/chase/cuelist/group etc.). Note that this shortcut will only work if the handle contains something. If the handle is empty select the relevant content type softkey (for example cue)
(- if manually selecting content type you will now need to select the handle type softkey - for the Titan Mobile Macros and Executors these are currently slightly confusingly classed as [Touch Key])
- Select action from the softkeys (for example [Flash])

That's it. Each key (ie. Grey, Blue or Touch for Titan Mobile) can be given a different action for each type of content. You can have an unlimited set of Key Profiles and switch between them by holding Avo+[Select Key Profile]. This determines the 'Global' actions. In addition the global actions can be overridden on a per playback basis via [Playback Options]/[Handle]/[Key Profile]. When this is set to Global the key actions will follow the currently selected key profile. Otherwise it will follow the action rules for the chosen profile regardless of the current key profile.

For more information see manual section 13.4.
