Macros on a static playback LED

Postby djsky » 21 Apr 2016, 23:42

I have a macro assigned to a static playback that triggers multiple cues.

The cues all start when I select the macro playback button, and stop when I press it again. but the LED doesn't light up to show that it's running or not.

Is there a way to make the LED light up in this manner?

I can't think of a way to do this at the moment. I considered the possibility of using a cue list with a single cue to autoload the other playbacks which does light up when active however you need to use Avo or Release to kill the cue list. There may be more possibilities in future.

How about recording a macro that releases the playback and assign that to the second step of a cuelist where the first step autoloads? This should work. Generally I would say autoloading is a better way to achieve this as you can easily view/edit.
