Hi.
I'm trying to use MSC from qlab to control the Titan Mobile for the first time.
Cannot get the console to respond to MSC in any way.
Tried all combiations of Qnumber, Qlist and Qpath in qlab, but no luck.
What i'm trying to do:
I want qlab to fire cue 2 in my quelist wich has user number 8.
What is Titan expecting from Qlab?
Have set the Device ID to 1 in both Titan and Qlab.
I know the console is receiving midi, because musical midi works.
What am i doing wrong?

Can you double check that the MSC mapping is enabled in the Tiggers window as it is disabled by default. The playback is identified by its user number which you should see to the left of the legend on screen, if this is left blank in the MSC command the connected cue list is used. Try using the all call ID (7F) in Qlab as Titan should respond to this regardless. Try either the ALL OFF or RESET commands which should both release all running playbacks and don't require any parameters.

Hi. Thanks for replying.
MSC mapping is enabled.
Tried sending the ALL_OFF and RESET commands now, with the ALL TYPES option selected.
Nothing changed.
This is really strange..

Re: Titan Mobile + Qlab MSC
Hi.
I am still having this problem, and soon i am doing another show where msc is needed.
Last time i ended up doing a quickfix by mapping the go button to a midinote, but i dont see that as a good solution over time.
That just fires whatever que is next, and i really want the cue i fire in qlab to fire the corresponding cue in titan..
So, anybody got any ideas as to what may be wrong here?

I have the same problem. In the MIDI preferences of QLab I can't see the Titan console.
It isn't clear in the manual : does it work with a network or does it need to use the 5-pin MIDI port of the console ?

Re: Titan Mobile + Qlab MSC
Hi. You need to use the physical connection on the desk. Titan has no support for network midi.
Re: Titan Mobile + Qlab MSC
Ok, so I need a MIDI output from the Mac. Thanks for the reply !

Yes.
I use a simple USB midi interface.

Hello
Pretty much trying the same thing here. QLAB to a Titan Mobile.
I tried checking the obvious culprits:
- The trigger is enabled on the trigger screen
- The Mobile is receiving midi (a note press works)
I tried sending a GO without cue list number to trigger the connected cue-list
Msg F0 7F 00 02 7F 01 F7 - No result
A message for Cue 3 (cue with user number three)
Msg F0 7F 00 02 7F 01 33 F7 - No result
And a message for Cue 2 and Cue item 1 (cue list with user number 2)
Msg F0 7F 00 02 7F 01 32 00 31 F7 - No result
And an ALL_OFF with a few manually activated playbacks
F0 7F 00 02 7F 08 F7
Any idea what i'm doing wrong here?
Cheers,

Re: Titan Mobile + Qlab MSC
Solved my problem.
The system failed due to an IOException, because midi.dll couldn't be found. I copied it from the simulator directory to the titan mobile directory and voila, it works.
What is a good place to report this potential installer bug?
