Shape Generator problem

Any one have an idea why i cant adjust shape size and speed on expert titan with wing running 9.1?

When creating shapes the shape parameters are always connected to the wheels on the console. As far as I am aware it is not possible to use the wing wheels. Is that what you meant?

See the picture niclights shape window is still connected to main window in expert. But cant control it

If possible can you please provide detailed steps that lead up to this?

For example:

- Patch xx yy zz (where x is manufacturer, y is model, z is mode)
- Select fixture
- [Shapes and Effects]
- [Shape Generator]
- [Create]
- [?]

Its not only fixture related problem when creating a shape with a varilite vl440 in extended mode,
But also with dimmer channels.

So example

Running in program mode on console

Select all vl440 spot there in mode extended.

Then do shape and effects.
Create shape dimmer or pan tilt.
Then shape runs in the veneu
But when i want to change the parameters with the wheels.

Like spread en speed

Resulting i cant change any parameter on the wheels.

I'm sure there's something simple I'm forgetting here. But anyway...

First thing I would check is does this happen from a new show? (new show, patch 1x dimmer, select dimmer and create shape) If it works ok then problem is in showfile/show settings.

Next I would download and install latest personality library. It's possible there is an issue with the shape file and this will ensure you have a new copy. After installing make sure you restart the software and then repeat the new show test above.

If it still doesn't work then last thing to do is run 9.0 recovery (standard should be fine) and then install 9.1 over the top. Ensure panel firmware is all up-to-date at this point too. This may seem like an extreme measure and it may be unnecessary but it's usually quicker than messing about trying other things and can't do any harm.

Problem is solved.
Thing is the console came from 7.something.
First installed 9.0, then 9.1 and updated fixturefiles.
Old shows did load, but apparently not the shape generator. Or at least, not working.

Started with a blank show and have full shape controll.
