locate fixture

hi guys, i have made a shape with 6 moving lights, now i play the shape with 6 ml's . What if i wanna locate one fixture, from the 6 ml's to high light a person.... is it possible. wht i have noticed is that the light i locate keeps moving to the shape . is there a way to keep it in a locate position and then i could just move it according to my need.

There does appear to be a workaround:

Program Mode.
Select the fixture(s)
Playback Shape
Select Circle
Set Size & Speed to zero.

This will stop any movement on the selected fixtures. You can now move it manually.

A more practical solution is on the feature request list.

/Edit: Pressing [clear] will restore the shape.

Not sure about this, but you could try to 'Remove shape for selected fixtures' if the chase contains a shape from the shape gen rather than a series of moves.

That does not work unless the information is in the programmer, ie. you would need to include the memory first. It would also remove all shapes, whereas the method above would allow colour shapes etc. to remain.

Not that it should work though! Is a bit strange that you can be running a Pan & Tilt combined shape, yet cancel it by running a circle set to 0.
