Record palettes using Capture visualisation software

Postby gotlandljus » 08 Jan 2016, 13:17

How?

Very hard to find any information about how to do this.
Read somewhere that a record-button should show up in capture but it won't show up at my computer..

I've tried both sACN & Artnet.

In Titan there's an option to create a picture legend from the view in Capture. Perhaps this is what you mean?

Yes and no.

I would like to get the picture legend from capture but i also read that it is possible to right click to move the moving heads to that position and the make a palette. "A small record button should appear"

Is it possible?

Yes this should be possible.

A few settings to check:
  • Since this feature uses the CITP connection please ensure that this is set to the correct network adapter in Capture (Tools > Options > Connectivity).
  • In the bottom right quadrant of the Capture main window, in the Universes tab check that Project console link is enabled and the correct console is selected.
  • If I remember correctly I believe that the feature works best when using Art-Net and Continuous is turned off in DMX Settings on the console.
