Thought I should share this
Last week, during rehearsal of a show with band and a choir, two houers before concert our Tiger Touch suddenly froze. Tried to restart the console without success, the console couldn’t find the boot disc. Prior to this we have had a couple of times when the Tiger didn’t boot as expected with a message like this: “An error has prevented start-up. Restarting the console should I most cases solve the problem”
This time nothing helped and we had to send a friend to fetch the backup solution, a PC with Titan One installed for just this reason but not ideal for running a show with 18 pages and 172 Ques.
Meantime my college who is an IT-technician did some digging in the Tiger Touch and to our surprise loosening and refitting the cables to the SSD disc get the console up and running approximately 30 minutes before the show.
Best regards

Re: Scary moments when Tiger Touch didn’t start
I have suffered the exact same thing.
The console has just locked up.
At start-up will not find HDD
Got the blue screen
It gets really scared.
I sent in the console to service and swapped HDD, have only driven the console 5 times after the change. I hope that the bug is fixed

Re: Scary moments when Tiger Touch didn’t start
There was a whole series of Intel 520 SSD's, that were used in the Tiger Touch for a while, that had a fairly serious firmware bug - the description in this article fits the BSOD's that the Tiger Touch would exhibit, when the SSD's firmware suddenly disconnects the drive.

Check and see what model SSD your desk has - might save you some headache!
