Pearl Tiger loaded with wrong software..help?

I have a Pearl Tiger that came with the 2008 software, but was loaded with the 2004 software by mistake during maintenance of the console. Now the console will not get any further than the "Please Wait Energizing Pearl" screen when powered on.

I was able to get into AVOS by holding down the 21 and 30 add buttons during startup, and I have the correct software on my USB drive, but it says it can't read the disc when I try to load the new program. I think it's actually looking for a floppy drive instead of a USB drive since it's the older software.

How can I get the 2008 software loaded back onto the console? I've contacted support, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Any help would be appreciated.
