Diamond 4 Cue List question

I am brand new at this, built several cues, then built a cue list and when I playback from my cue list each cue adds to the next. I have blue light on one cue and then red on the next, but when I go from cue 1 to cue 2 I get pinkish, it is adding the blue to the red...why? Semi urgent.
Thanks
Tony

I would guess this is to do with the way you have programmed and LTP.
Presumably the fixtures you have been programming are RGB (or CMY) and therefore require three channels of information to get a required colour.
I am not wholely familiar with the D4's workings, but I will assume things are fairly similar to the Pearl:
It is important to make sure that all the required information is stored (ie. in the programmer). Often you don't actually need to change some attributes because they are already at the correct value, but it is important to re-affirm these values so that they enter the programmer and are subsequently stored.
With LTP channels (latest Takes Precedence), the last value used is kept until it is changed (as opposed to Highest Takes Precedence). So, using an RGB LED fixture as an example, if you stored just the Red channel at 100% for cue one and just the Blue channel at 100% for cue two, then on recalling cue one followed by cue two the red will be recalled and will remain whilst the blue is added on top, making pink.
The solution is to record cue one - (R)100%, (G)0%, (B)0% and cue two - (R)0%, (G)0%, (B)100%. This will then ensure that the red channel is reduced back to zero when the blue channel is recalled at full.
Hope that makes sense!

hi tony u have a problem wht a fixture i think cause i use an ayrton moduled and doesn't works good cause u control the color like ltp but in led tecnologi if u wanna use a led like a par can wht color change u use a color parameter like htp ... Why ? ... cause some internal software work stand alone can make a trouble in a dmx control
