Keyframe speed controlled by BPM master

Postby Nathan-Joosten » 15 Jul 2015, 21:01

I've been playing around with the Keyframe shape generator.
Made Some intensity bumps and Color, All works fine.

But then i wanted control the speed by a BPM master, it works but...

When you set the BPM at 60 and it runs the total shape @60 so a 2 step keyframe is played @120.
With a even number of steps it's possible to make it work so when i'm tapping on a beat i skip one. Buth with a shape comtaining 3 or 5 steps it's quite hard

So is it possible to trigger the steps insted of the whole shape?

Hope you'll understand my question.

With kind regards from the Netherlands!

Interesting. I see the issue. I certainly think it would be useful to have a way to do this. Will forward.

I'd like to second this as a feature request! Usually when I'm trying to tap-tempo its to make each step run on the beat not to do a complete pass in one beat. I usually get round it with 2 step chases by just tapping the beat but missing the button every other tap.

I have the same problem ! In Grand MA we can change the value of the speed of an effect or a chase (normal, divided per x or multiplied per y), but I can't find a similar option in Titan.
Any solution… ? If not it's very annoying, I hope it's at the top of the features to add in next software version. Please Avolites !

I second this, too.

In fact, I suggested this a year ago at the After-PLASA-distributor days at Avolites, and submitted it several times in writing, too. Let's hope the day will come...
