V9 update problem

I have been trying to update my tiger touch 1 to V9 software from V7.4. I've followed all the steps in the notes (bios etc), I've tried several usb sticks (all 4 gb) and have had the same 2 error messages in all cases. Either to try putting the stick in again or that the boot mgr file is missing. I have checked the stick in other pc's and lighting desk with no issues.
any ideas?

Try formatting the stick and then running the recovery creator again. Some users have found that with certain sticks running Rufus first to format the stick has made it work.
