Media player trigger

Hi,

I'm trying to use both titan mobile and Dataton watchout media player together.
Dataton watchout media player will be the master and it will trigger the cues on my titan mobile..
I know that there's no SMPTE on Titan mobile, so is it possible to use DMX triggers?
There's no dmx output from the media player, it can only be connected through artnet..
Any idea on how to make it link together other than using active fixtures?

I'm a newbie to this
Any help given would be greatly appreciated! :D

Your best bet is to use Midi Show Control to trigger the Titan mobile. This feature is supported in Titan V9. You can use a midi usb device to get your computer to connect to the midi jack on the console.

Hi mdc2000 ,

Is Midi show control something like MIDI trigger? Will it auto trigger the cues on Titan according to the timeline from watchout player?
By using the usb device, can I direct connect it to the computer (running watchout) and titan mobile? Or do I still have to use midi controller as a middle man.

Thanks for your help!

No, you are definitely looking for Timecode.
TM does not accept SMPTE, but it does accept Midi Time Code so, if your media player can send a MTC, all you have to do is to use the midi port on your TMobile.

Alternatively, if you just want to synchronize to audio/video clips, you could use winamp as player, as it is natively recognized by Titan as timecode source.
