hi there i would like to see in the vdu screen, whats happenning inside the memory
i mean whitch gobo or color or pan iris ecc....preset i have inside.
wheve got a chance to see them in single ways ,but not all together why its so usefull having a cue list of all parameters!
another thing is that im building my own personality in the data sheet directly assigning also the wheel number ecc,,, but if i press the focus button and select options, and select all my different spots as all, why doesnt that parameter( ex pan and tilt ) afect all the spots ? just to be clear the pan tilt stuff is all the same also if the fixtures are different (pftable "pos" 28 1 3)
("mid" 50 hex hex )
can you please explain what -1 means, witch is the diffrence from my ex or this one!
(pftable "pos" -1 1 3)
("mid" -1 hex hex)
thanks a lot !

I'm having difficulty understanding, but a few suggestions:
View can be used with Playback Add and with Palette (Preset) Add to view contents. There is also 'Stage Fixtures' from the VDU views menu. Use this to see current values by fixture. Scroll through fixtures using left/right cursor keys.
If you have values stored for more than one fixture of a particular type within a palette, then the values recalled will be specific to the fixtures selected. For 'Shared Palettes' to work you should only define a value for the first fixture of that type. Is that what you meant? (see edit...)
-1 means that the palette is not assigned to a button. This instead allows you to define tables in addition to the 200 palettes. An example would be to define a set of colours for fixtures using colour mixing. For any fixtures that have data defined in this way the LCD will automatically switch to 'attributes and fixtures' view when you select the relevant attribute. The values can then be selected by wheel (you can avoid selecting inbetween values by holding [shift])
These table values are also accessible from Program/Softbutton E.
HTH. I'm not sure my post makes any sense either!
/Edit: Ahh. Now I re-read your post. Palette(Focus)/Options/Fixture type is currently only designed to allow different legending IIRC. It does not have any affect on the actual fixtures used. For example you could have colour defined for two fixtures within a palette. For this you could set three legends - ALL, Fixture 1 and Fixture 2. However, both fixture 1 and fixture 2 will recall regardless of which 'Fixture Type' is selected.
When testing I remember this being an issue, but so was time! I do think that 'Fixture Type' should filter the palettes being recalled. Hopefully this may be changed in future versions
