Avo with Martin Show Designer

Hi,
Has anyone tryed to connect Pearl Desk with Martin Show designer.
Is it necessary to install both ACDI drivers (from AVO and Martin site).
I have a Pearl desk and Martin show Designer, I just want to be shure
that it works befor I buy license key for ACDI.
