Installing an earlier software verson on the pearl expert

I was wondering if there is an easy way to down grade to an earlier software version on the pearl expert. I have a pearl expert currently running version 8 and I have a designer insisting that the console needs to be running version 7.4. Is there an easy way to go a version? If so, what is the process to do that?

The cleanest way would be to run a Full Recovery to v7.1 and then upgrading to v7.4. You would need to keep a copy of your show files and licence file so that you can use them after running the recovery.
Alternatively you can delete the 8.0 installer from the D:\Install directory then run a Standard Recovery using a v7.1 or earlier recovery stick. This will preserve your show files, licence file and upgrade to the newest installer in the Install directory.
