Titan Mobile all LED fixture colour values @ zero on clear

Postby alexnnn » 04 Nov 2014, 01:24

Hi, not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same thing but here is my issue:

Just downloaded avolites titan mobile v8.0 on a new computer, all sweet.
Added any LED fixtures, changed the colour values, press clear, always clears to 100%
In the past with previous versions of avolites I was able to clear to zero. Is there a setting in the software i can change to make it clear to zero rather than fade out to full colour?

What fixture exactly are you talking about?

Essentially, colours shouldn't change upon clear, since they are LTP channels. I'd suspect a fixture with a virtual dimmer where maybe something is wrong in the personality.

Hey icke_siegen,
its on any led fixtures that I patch in, if you want to know an example; generic rgb 6ch mode, or james thomas pixelline 1044
Because before i even start playing with the colours of the fixtures, they are all at 100% is this normal?
When you say colour essentially shouldnt change upon clear is because you have left the 'freeze current values' on where as i want to go back to playback values upon clear.

Yes, the 'power on' state is dimmer@0%, RGB@100%. This way, you just need to bring up the dimmer, to make the light shine. I can only guess that this is your issue: you just set the (virtual) dimmer at 100% with some playback. Then, your clear setting does effectively release the programmer to values set by playbacks - and if there aren't any, then it releases to power on...

Try creating a playback with some colour in it - at least in my tests it then released to that playback.

If this doesn't help, may I ask you to write down the button presses you are doing, in order to recreate exactly your problem?
