I ve got a problem with my macro's. Im using the macro's for updating a color dump pallet, so i can use one color pallet to make my bumps.

Macro does the following:
Avo shift - Blind active - select group 1 all move stage - select color pallet - store pallet - pallet color dump - merge - Avo shift - Blind inactive.

When I hit it the console freezes up at the merge part.

Corrupt showfile or is it a bug??

Well, hard to answer. Best thing would be to have a look at your showfile. I'd happily do so; also, you might ask the Avo guys directly.

The reason: there are much more information written into the stored macro, including the very state the console was in when the macro was written. Thus, there might be several reasons the console seems to hang.

Another question: have you already used such a macro in version 7.x, without fault, or is this something you just started trying in v8?

That's completely through, i tried it with an other show file and it all seems to work just fine. This show is freshly written in version 8. So no update from earlier versions.

Also tried another approach to make a different key combo instead of using the touch screen. Unfortunately with the same result.

So little update. Just finished making a new show and started on the macro's... same story. Desk freezes up. Anyone else???

Yeah will do that! Will take a little time, need someone to send it to me.

Had this problemen been solved? I'm experiencing the same on my expert running v8.0.
Only seems too happen when the blind programming is included tho, works fine if i leave it out but thats not the purpose of the macro.

It may be worth upgrading to v9.0 which is now fully released. Although I cannot say whether this bug will still be present in the latest version without further information, we do fix a variety of bugs with every new release.
