				V8 Capture Support

				Hi,
I am trying to suss out the new V8 features that support Capture but the manual is very sparse on how this works.
I am running Titan Simulator and Capture on the same machine and visulisation is working via Artnet. 
I can't seem to get the Live CITP thumbnails to work. Is there further settings I need to sort?

				Update:
I have found the button in Capture that records the pallet on Titan and that works with the correct picture legend, but I can't make this work purely from the legend function in Titan as per the following from the release notes:
Live CITP thumbnails: A new tab has been added to the virtual 
keyboard. When selected this displays thumbnails from devices 
supporting the live CITP function which you can then apply as a 
picture legend. This is a neat function for providing quick visual 
legends. At the time of writing only Capture is supported. For 
example you might create a fanned position look with your moving 
heads while visualising in Capture. You could then take this visualisation 
image and apply it directly to a cue or palette legend giving you a legend 
with a rendition of how it might look.

				Have to say when I wrote that I tested using consoles networked to a capture PC and it works correctly like that but I am also struggling to make it work on the same PC.  Not sure why yet but at least you know you're not alone!

Thanks for the quick reply.
So this should work on the console then? I am using the simulator just to try and work out the V.8 features so it is not critical for me to work on the same PC.
I also had an email with this feature listed:
Patched fixtures on the console will be automatically made available in Capture with correct information for placement within your rig
Is that implemented yet and if so I can't see how that is accessed in Capture.

				Yes, it definitely works ok with a console.
Regarding the patch there is a 'Console Patch' window in Capture which shows all fixtures patched on the connected console along with their universe and address.  I'm not sure if it is supposed to actually add the fixtures into a theatre automatically yet or if it is currently just to provide information.
