OK, here is another interesting problem:
See the attached show file, it has a single fixture patched and two cues recorded - playback 1 is the fixture doing a circle shape, and playback 10 is the fixtures pan and tilt values both set to 0.
With the DMX window open so you can watch output, trigger the Circle cue a bunch of times via the flash button - most of the time, but not always, when released, the fixture will return to its normal 'home' position of pan and tilt at 50%. Sometimes it will seem to 'stop' wherever it is along the circle.
It only seems to do this when there is no other underlying value, i.e. if you bring up the handle for playback 10, and then flash the 'circle' cue, it will always return to the underlying values (0% pan and tilt) coming from playback 10.
I've observed the same behavior on a Tiger Touch (original version, serial number <500) running v8.
Release mask settings (whether global or local) seem to have no effect on this behavior.
