I just picked up the Titan Mobile and think I'd prefer to buy a All-in-one touchscreen unit to run it off of for easy transport and a larger screen than what I'd get from a laptop.

I'm curious if anyone else is using an all in one vs. lappy and who has had the best (most stable) results.

Also, Is anyone also using a 2nd display off their all in one?
Has anyone built a cool carrying case to hold their monitor and TM console in a single protected state?

Please advise. I've just started learning the software on my existing laptop and can't wait to move over to touch screens.

I've been using the HP Envy Rove now for 6 or 7 months and really like it... it has a 20" screen and I haven't really found a need for a 2nd screen, I just have several workspace screens set up that I can switch to quickly... the one thing that I did do (and recommend) is that I had a solid state drive installed... eventually you WILL push the pesky red X and it WILL close the software at the most in-opportune time.. The SS drive helps speed things up.
I was really hoping that they would've fixed that problem in version 8.0.. how hard can it be to put in a prompt asking if you're sure before it closes the program? They did however make it so the software saves and closes much faster than the previous version so the stage is dark only for half of a song instead of a full song

While we are still waiting, you will can use a nice piece of freeware as a workaround : NoClose

NoClose where it simply disables the Close (X) button located at the top right of the window. To disable the close button on a selected window, press Ctrl+1 to temporarily enable or disable it. If you want the changes to be permanent, press Ctrl+2 instead to add the program to the rules. Make sure that NoClose is running or else it won’t work. From what I’ve noticed, NoClose only disables the Close button located at the top right of the window while other methods such as Alt+F4 still works. It is possible to change the default hotkeys from the Settings by right clicking on the NoClose icon at the notification area and select Settings.

If that doesn't work for you, you have other options - note that I haven't tested them and that some of them aren't free :
