I'm having problems with V8 with Titan Mobile and a Samsung touch with windows 8... no problem with the same hardware and V7.5, but with V8 it doesn't work... it starts to open but the software doesn't start... nobody else with this problem?
Many thanks

Re: Titan V8 Released
I'm having the same problem with installing on the Samsung Touch. Works great in 7.5, just hangs for v8. Have you found a fix yet?

Does it come up with the Starting Titan... screen? Can you tell if the Titan engine is running, it should show up in the taskbar with a red T icon? If you have already tried reinstalling can you send your log files to repairs [at] avolites.com. To get the log files use Log Collector which can be found in the Start Menu under Avolites > Tools, it will save a zip file with all the log files inside.
Re: Titan V8 and Samsung Touch
This is what I've found...
When the Titan Mobile is plugged in: The Engine doesn't start. The Starting Mobile screen comes on and hangs.
When the Titan Mobile is NOT plugged in: The Engine starts, but says no dongle can be found.
When I just start the simulator: It asks for a license, when the license is installed, it hangs at the startup screen.
I have uninstalled / reinstalled several times, and have tried removing my tokens and adding them. I have also forced an upgrade on my Titan Mobile firmware. Still no change.
I am uploading my log file to the address you recommended.

Re: Titan V8 and Samsung Touch
Hi again
I tried to install the software in another Samsung touch and it just does exactly the same.
The titan engine (the red icon) just shows up for 1 ou 2 seconds and it turns off... the same occurs with the Titan Mobile pluged in or with Titan Simulator... and it keep saying "Starting Titan"
Many thanks

Re: Titan V8 and Samsung Touch
I just got another Titan Mobile console and installed it on an Acer All-in-One and everything went great. I'm trying to use that console on my Samsung All-in-One, and so far it's not working there. I put in the license, and "Verifying Licence" just keeps spinning. It never verifies.

Re: Titan V8 and Samsung Touch
I had the same problems with a new computer with win 8.1OS and Kies for Samsung phones
Windows repeatedly asked for an additional winmedia plugin which costs about €180.00
My Nokia does not have problems, being a win phone.
What has this to do with lighting desks? I guess it's just the win8.1 /samsung incompatability, not the new version Titan V8.
