Colour Channel on Fader

Hi All,

My apologies for asking what may be a simple question - new to Titan.
Basically is it possible to have a single channel / Colour on a fader for individual control?

For example I have some RGBWA+UV washes - Basically the LED chip allows for full RGB mixing and individual control via DMX channel of each LED on the chip.
In theory while a chase for example is running cycling through a standard colour I would like the ability to fade in the UV channel.

I have already got a colour palette in place to turn the UV to 100% on its own which appears to work on the offline system / simulator.

Not sure if you can do this but say having a fader control for a single channel of colour would be useful - as its a public venue It would be handy to be able to just turn on the UV aspect which will still work if the fixture is outputting red for example.

Many Thanks
Neil

To do this you need to set the fader to mode 2 (fade by fader): [Edit Times]/<select playback>/[Toggle Mode 2].

When creating the playback make sure you only place the required attribute/level in the programmer and use 'Record by channel' mode. The mode can be set/changed by pressing the mode softkey in the record menu that appears immediately after pressing record and before selecting a destination handle.

Thanks Nic for the swift response.

Just tried this and not getting very far- do I record it to a playback at 100% and then change to fader mode 2 ? the view mode shows just the channel (and for tests so I can see in vis I chose red).
does not appear to do anything when using the fader for example when I locate the fixture and set it to 100% white?

Many Thanks

yes record at 100% then change the saved playback to mode 2 ...

If the fixture has a Dimmer or a Virtual Dimmer those will also need to be at 100% on that fader or on another of course. .

you may also have to with the mode 2 fader down go in and dial the channel your messing with back to 0 the clear the programmer and test your mode2 fader
