TM DMX Freeze!!!

Hi everybody!
During th last gig something REALLY strange happenedto my TM.
While the desk was fully functional, Leds on, touch screen working, values changing...for about 40 of the sweatyest seconds of my life I had no dmx control.
After that eveything ok....I don't know if it was the rigs fault or the Titan mobile's fault....I could not check...
Just asking...did somebody experience something like this with TM??

Not with TM, but had the same with Expert. Still don't know what it was. Did yours also snapped to positions they should have been at right after the freeze?

My guess is that -for me-, is was a memory problem. I had loads of action going on, in a rather big user file, on rather low memory. Guess it was too much at the moment, could explain why it didn't happen again. But I am not sure, you could do a health check to see (although the memory-check is only available in the latest software, if I am correct?)

On a console these symptoms might suggest a hard drive access problem. This could also be true for a TM although there are probably other possibilities. In both cases running log collector and sending to Avo is a good idea so these issues can be investigated (including the date and time of the event).

Note that by default log collector grabs everything, including shows which can make it very large. Here the showfiles might not be relevant, so you can hit the options button and untick bits like shows.

If you're curious you can also look yourself. Drive access problems will show up in windows event viewer and to look at Titan logs go find the log viewer pro application and use the open folders option. There's no guarantee there will be anything relevant in there and almost certainly it will look entirely alien but if there are loads of errors at the time of the problem then it might give a clue.

With a Titan mobile I would check the USB cable as the first option. You could also try powering it from a seperate supply rather than relying on USB power.

on my last show i had the same issue,
One big tip, REBOOT your computer/laptop before running your gig.
it solved the problem.

Hey guys!
Happened again!!!
Had my sharpies focused in one point, I wanted to move them but I wasn't able...
I went to dmx settings, unpatched the line and they went in kind of a zero position...then patched again the dmx line, and they were stuck again...
restarted the software...problem bypassed ( not solved ...)

yes I'v changed the usb cable...not yet added an external power supply...I have the 2 usb version of the tm, the full white one

I've figured out the problem with the TM
if you have used an usb key and ejected it this causes the problems freezing.
Reboot the pc will solve this problem so it is some kind windows issue caussing the usb devices not to work propertly ...
