tracking off / scenario question

probably another question for niclights
my preferred style is using recording cue lists by *Stage* mode, with tracking off, m-i-d early, m-i-d fade 0 secs... Heres my test cue list:
Cue 1: movers in position-1 in Red (3 sec fade)
Cue 2: movers out (so they will move-in-dark for cue 3) (3 sec fade)
Cue 3: movers in position-2 in Blue (3 sec fade)
the problem with tracking off and the way I recorded the cues (stage).. when i hit cue 2, the movers fade out but the color snaps to white before they fade out... if tracking is on they respect the previous value of course and do a smooth blackout from the previous color... is there a way to make it so the color changes dont occur until the moving lights are in black? i feel like i'm requesting a "Color-change-in-dark" setting.
Hope this makes sense..
