Tiger Touch II Operating Manual

Postby sdm » 07 Feb 2014, 18:55

Hi,

I have a Tiger Touch and ave just purchased a Tiger Touch II. Will you be releasing a manual that directly relates to the new TT II layout.

We are a school so use them for teaching purposes which does tend to confuse the students a little when we ask them to read certain sections of the V7.00 manual and it showing a different layout.

Regards

Hello,

It's been almost 20 days now, and I think this post deserve a reply, so I'm bringing it on top...
I'm going to buy a TT in a few weeks and I'm wondering if I can expect a dedicated manual soon.
If it's not in the pipes, I'll probably go for a TT Pro instead of the TT II.

On the other hand, coming from a Classic Tiger, this maybe more comfortable anyway...
But I'd also like to know if you intend to dump previous versions and go for the new one (TT II's layout ) in all next versions of the manual.

Thank you for a reply to this post.

I have come from a classic Tiger to a touch and now on a TT2, The change from classic to a touch is very easy and the TT2 layout is cleaner and the desk is a lot faster.

But if you are new to the TT and haven't made the journey through Avolites consoles the manual can cause a little confusion to first time Avolites users!

We will have a Tiger Touch 2 manual, but probably not until version 9 software is released. Keeping the manual up to date is a major job and we are also investing in other training tools like webinars and videos.

I am sorry this doesn't exactly answer your question but if you need any individual help please contact Amy in training.

There are no additional buttons on a Tiger Touch 2 they have just been rearranged to make the programming flow easier and to bring better alignment with our other consoles.

Thank you for your reply.

TT II is shipping :)

Edit : While waiting for v9 and a proper manual, this will maybe help someone else :
figured out that using the Titan Mobile version of the manual was a lot more easier, as the TT II and Mobile layouts matches. Also, pages numbers in the index and all "see section X.X on page Y" are correct - while a bunch of them don't match in the TT manual v7.0 ...
