Expert touch wing?

Postby Dereklites » 02 Jan 2014, 01:16

I have one of the 1st touch wings that came out when they were released.
Since I upgraded to and past V7 I can not see the screen, It is white with a few multi colored lines running on screen.
Is there a bios up date that I have to do. Oh and thought the video card went bad so I have already swapped it out.
This console has been on the road constantly for 7 years and now that I have a lot more LED fixtures in my rig I really
Need the wing.

Has the BIOS been updated as part of the v6 upgrade? If not it is important that you do. Once done check everything is set in the BIOS as detailed in the guide.

Are there any panel updates for the wing in Usb Expert Console?

I won't know until the 8th that is when I get back to my Console.
But are you saying I should go back to V6.0 and update from there until 7.2?

No. You can leave the install as it is but to use any version from 6.0 onwards everything in the v6 upgrade guide needs to be complete.

It worked until I went 7.0 that is where I'm at right now.
So maybe I missed something in the Bios but it worked one week then it was gone.
When I get back to it I will post.

It might not be related to any of the things I suggested but they're all important anyway. Although of the two I'd say panel firmware is perhaps more likely. If this doesn't solve it then it's probably time to contact service.
