Midi control and mapping on Titan v7.1

So I have been trying to setup a midi controller to trigger playbacks, cues, chases etc.. I bought an Novation Launchpad S which uses a USB cable, I can't seem to receive a stimulus from the midi controller. Even with the learn function turned on Its not working. So my question is, does titan only except a midi input from only the midi port or can it receive a USB midi input? I'm using a titan mobile.

Titan One does not have a MIDI input port. Does this mean that Titan One doesn't accept MIDI control, or it accepts it via USB?

Titan One does not support MIDI triggers.

Is it still the case on 7.6 that you can't use a usb midi control with titan? I have a titan mobile and a kong nano control I'd like to use with it for a few extra faders. I can see why it wouldn't be enabled on titan one but mobile has a midi input port anyway.

I'm not aware of anything changing regarding MIDI. Sorry.
