I have a little question about the DMX-in interface ...

Hi,

From the manual:
DMX In: allows you to capture DMX from an external system into memories on the Pearl using the Include function.

AFAIK that is the only thing it can be used for, though I have never used it.

Regards,

Nic

/Edit: This may only be in 2004 soft. I am not sure!

Thanks for the answer...

Wouldn't it be usefull if you guys would work out a software update so that you can use the DMX-in to set the intensity for certain masters.

I.E. you can attach an external console and fader 1 is used to set the intesity for a certain number of channels (ie intensity of the front-light), in this way, you can save some faders for more important features (like chases, movements, ...)
