Forcing values into the programmer?

Postby gym1339 » 15 May 2005, 08:31

What is the quick way to force all values of a fixture into the programmer. I am not talking about including a memory, but merely selecting a fixture and forcing all attribute values into the programmer with one or two easy key strokes.

Thanks,

JIM

Forcing values into the programmer?????

Not exactly what I was looking for. Let's say I have a fixture and I wanted to dump all the current attributes into the programmer. On the Hog console I would hit pig+active or on the GrandMA I would touch the selection pallette twice and all parameters and their values would get loaded into the programmer. With my Pearl I can physically "touch" each encoder and the values turn cyan on my vdu, letteing me know they are in the programmer. But there must be an easier way then touching the encoders for every parameter. Also, I may want all parameters in the programmer and not want to record just yet.

Thanks,

Jim

Hmmm. I don't think there is a way, but it sounds like a fine idea. Perhaps one for the wish-list?
