Diffrences between the Pearls and Tiger Touch

Hi all,

I have a show comming up for a customer wich has a Tiger Touch console.
I am used to working with the Pearl consoles.

I noticed the user interface is more or less the same, but are there any diffrences between the two when programing or running the show?
I guess the pallets are now moved on to the touchscreen.

I hope someone can tell me about some of the changes.

Thanx.

Robin

I downloaded the Titan software for my pc and am working with it right now. Seems all easy enough.
Just one problem i have with the visualizer. when i give my fixtures a lamp on and then make a 100% dimmer value and record it to a playback it does not show in the visualizer when i use that playback.
If i select my fixtures and give 100% dimmer it shows, just not on a playback

Any one else have this problem?

Edit: I just loaded in a provided demoshow and this has the same problem

Unfortunately there is a bug in the simulator at the moment where the faders don't work.

Thank you for the info.
So I should be able to pre-program my pallets and chases.

Yes. Note that the faders do work in Titan One. Generally it is easier to program in that as it has dedicated controls for use on a PC, rather than having to use the virtual panel. Titan showfiles are compatible across the range and you can reassign handles (for example for the Tiger Touch static faders) by using Show Library. Obviously you might still want to use the simulator to familiarise yourself with button layout but the option's there.
