Re: Cant; save to USB drive?
After hours of trying to figure this out I've come to this conclusion....
Titan can't save to secondary internal drives. for some reason my sandisk cruzer fit is showing up in windows as an internal drive rather then a removable thumbdrive.
so why can't titan save to a secondary internal drive?

Re: Cant; save to USB drive?
in requesting that SnaDisk take a look at my issue they responded with this
so it seems that all thumbdrives will start to behave like this under windows 8
"Thanks for contacting SanDisk Technical Support. It is our goal to make sure you have all the resources you need to get the most from your product.
I understand that your USB Cruzer Fit is recognized as fixed disk instead of removable drive.
With the introduction of the Windows 8 operating system, Microsoft introduced a new requirement in their certification process for USB flash drives. One of the certification requirements is to have an USB flash drive recognized as a ‘fixed drive’ and not as a ‘removable disk’ as was previously required. We have made this change and your SanDisk USB flash drives will be listed as a ‘fixed drive’ when connected to a host device that is running a Windows operating system.
While the drive may be listed as a ‘fixed drive’ within the Windows operating system, SanDisk USB flash drives can still be used as portable storage to carry, share, and transfer all of your photos, videos, songs, documents and other files."
so it seems that all thumbdrives will start to behave like this under windows 8
Re: Cant; save to USB drive?
Just ran into this same issue and it's really annoying. Looks like we'll have to wait for Avo to change their software to look for these drives.

Re: Cant; save to USB drive?
Still the same in 7.1
What I did for an easy backup is I have windows back up the titan folder to a thumb drive automatically this is built into windows and at least gives me an hour by hour off disk back up if the main drive totally fails

Re: Cant; save to USB drive?
Still a problem in 7.2
How do I submit this as a bug ?
Or would it be a feature request ?

Re: Can't save to USB drive?
Sorry for the long delay in responding to this. I have had a response after contacting Microsoft relating to this issue. As far as they are aware the information posted on the SanDisk forum is completely untrue. There is no change to the policy regarding USB removable media and the media should be shipped with the removable media flag set.
Due to the fact that there is no work around if the flag is not set correctly in the USB stick you will have to replace the drive. I suggest you return any SanDisk sticks you have purchased as not fit for purpose and request that they replace them with sticks which have the removable flag set. If they can not supply a suitable stick then you can purchase USB drives from any other manufacturer which will work correctly with our software.

Re: Can't save to USB drive?
Thanks for the reply Olie ...
Odd...
That reply was from SanDisk directly not a forum.
Good to know its them and not "us"
That all in mind ..
Are there any plans to make secondary drives available to Titan?
