mode 2 in a cuelist

Postby nyholm88 » 09 Sep 2013, 12:41

What is the way to achieve a blackout in a cuelist, I.E a mode 2 effect. I know I can set a playback to mode 2 and blackout the whole rig, but how do you do it in a cuelist? If I set the tr4acking to CUE ONLY, it blocks all other values in the cuelist, but not the keylites on my static PB faders or any other playback thats running. Ive tried SOLO as well but does not seem to work

Im running V7

Autoload an empty mode 3 playback. This will fade out intensities of all fixtures in playbacks set to the same or lower priority than the cuelist playback. In other words you can set some playbacks to high prio if you want them to override the blackout. Set fade in/out times on the mode 3 playback as required.

The only limitation I can think of is mode 3 currently does not fade out pixel map intensity effects.

Thanks....this might work, but is it not a bit of a round about way? Is there no setting that will allow me to just solo a cue? Is this a bug, or an oversight

Thanks al

It's a solution. Certainly not a bug.
