iPad as 2nd Monitor for Titan Mobile

Postby brett » 02 Jul 2013, 06:47

Any suggestions for a way to use an ipad as a second touch monitor with Titan Mobile?

I have had issues with iDisplay and Airdisplay. They work when not running Titan software, but scramble the screen when I load Titan.

iteleport and VNC control using iteleport on the ipad has been suggested by our foh engineer. Anyone use that with Titan mobile?

I haven't found a working display emulation when I looked for this a while ago.

The point is: even VNC would need a real display adaptor which it can then 'export'. But if your computer is only equipped with one display, then no way.

I've been running AirDisplay, to have my ipad act as a second screen for my Titan mobile.

I'm running Windows 7 through Parallels on my macbook pro. I Don't run airdisplay though windows 7 though, its never worked for me that way.

I run Airdisplay on my Mac and then load up the windows partition and switch to full screen mode. It then gives me my second screen nice and easy like.

I previously ran Windows xp through parallels and did the same thing, never had an issue.

Hi,

I spent a bit of money a few months ago and tried every app I could find and one called splashtop came out the best for me. It's very stable, small and light piece of software for the computer. It has a tiny bit of lag if you are using your mouse on the screen but not as much as some of the others I came across. And the best thing you can try it for free then but it with an in app purchase if you like it and only £3.99
