The ETC "park", where you can set - say a conventional light at 40% (work light) but it will not be recorded in any mode.. unless its "brought up" to a level in the programmer...

is this possible in Titan?

Plz explain how, thx in advance!

Assuming you record cues in 'by channel' or 'by fixture' there are a number of ways:

1) Record the intensity in a playback and fire it. This could be from the playbacks workspace if you need keep faders for other things. This is how I do it, albeit I have it on an Expert preset fader so I can manually adjust the level.

2) If you have a Pearl Expert and have the fixture(s) patched to preset handles you could just raise the fader and clear the programmer. As long as the fader remains up it will still output.

3) Set the fixture intensity at the required level and freeze it. Personally I don't like this option as it is harder to set and unset for when you need or do not need the worklight. Freezing attributes is better for more permanent requirements like keeping switchpack channels on, emergency blocking of attributes on faulty fixtures or generally holding attributes which must never change.

However, I cannot think of any way to avoid recording raised intensities when using 'by stage' mode. This is by design.

I don't think anything has changed. However, I do have one solution for record by stage:

Record by stage looks for any attributes in the intensity group that are above zero and will then record everything in the associated fixture. So if you have a custom personality where the control is associated with a non-intensity group then you could leave it on and it will never record by stage. The main compromise in doing this is it will be an LTP attribute but this might be an advantage. Personally I control all my houselights using LTP as I want to guarantee they stay at the level I put them.
