Hello all,
So I have recently purchased a Titan Mobile and all appropriate everything to make it run. I'm stoked, except for the lack of buttons and faders. I know this is a common thread, but I have a solution for myself but can't seem to find a way to make it work. I have an akai apc20, my computer recognizes it, but it is USB to USB as the connection. No "midi" at all in the traditional sense. I've looked all over the console, settings, triggers, consoles, usb expert, etc but still the TM can't seem to find the pads, buttons and faders on the akai. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this so that I can maintain my carry on console idea?
Please help if you can.
Thanks

Titan will currently only see real MIDI. It will not see MIDI over Usb.

Ok,
That said how about midi yoke or midi ox? Will they help or am I looking for a different control surface as a wing?

There are some USB-2-MIDI dongles available, and quite reasonably priced. I mean this would be a bit of an overkill: AKAI via USB into the PC, then something like Bournes MIDI translator, or Ox, or something alike, to send it out to that USB thingy, which in turn would feed the MIDI signal into the Mobile. Honestly, this might be prone to errors. but then, why not give it a try.
I really wish Titan would listen to MIDI over USB...
