chase question

Postby Adamastor » 25 Mar 2013, 21:04

Hi,

How do I with my parleds create a simple collor htp chase, were wen I pull the fader down don't stay any fixed collor?

How do I create a chase (for ex.) step 1 - with my odd's parleds are white and my even's are "no collor/clear", and step 2 - odd's "no collor" and even white?
The I can select any collor for backgound and run this white chase

To create a chase that returns to a previous colour when it is killed you can set the release mask to colour.

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to make a white chase that runs over the top of any colour. This is a very common request however and hopefully there will be a solution in a future version.

As a workaround it is possible to do this with custom shapes. I have detailed this in the Tips and Tricks sticky thread. This is an advanced technique and technically not endorsed by Avolites but it has limited risk and I have used it for a long time. It is better suited to subtractive (ie. CMY) than additive because of the way full RGB doesn't always result in white.

Can you include such a shape in the next Titan version?
