LAMPS - plural

Postby iadwm » 16 Feb 2005, 23:53

Why does the desk lamp switch (Pearl 2004) have the legend "lamps", when there is only one?

Regards,

Andy

Even more:

Why is the "only" lamp located on the left side of the desk, thus leaving the graphic tablet on the dark...???

Then, you can install a second lamp on the right side , so you will have LAMPS on the Pearl...

I am not entirely sure but I guess that it was probably copied from the Sapphire which does have two lamps. I will try and find out.

£5 from argos and red gel works a treat. If you want to go a little more exotic then try a Mac 250. Seriously though, you have a valid point and one we will definately take into account in the future.

The things we users go on about..eh?

Please don't waist any time on this Olie, it was only a light hearted post.

But there is space for a second XLR on the right hand side......
Then if we had two lamps, we could patch them to the shape generator.

Andy

Presumably to either keep them at zero, or to strobe them in an annoying (but creative) fashion.

I'm waiting for Littlite to release the scroller....

(they do actually have an LED switchable between white and red, so
CYM could be on it's way!)

I really should find some work to do...
