Touch monitor on avolites desk

Postby MathieuMH » 05 Jan 2013, 19:16

Hi!

In a few months I have a big show with my avolites expert desk (it is a avo expert classic with hard/software update). I don't have a touch wing, but is was wondering if it's possible to connect a random toch screen (AOD A170 touchscreen for example) to my desk.
Will this work?

Happy new year btw.

greetings
Mathieu

Connecting 'a random touch screen' ... this is hard to answer.

Please verify that the console is updated to version 6 - connectivity can be different for version 5, because along with the update, the windows version was changed (from XP to W7). With version 6, all touchscreens which are labelled 'windows 7 compliant' should work. E.g. ELO touchscreens are something like the 'standard'. Personally, I use Iiyama touch displays - but they require a separate driver, which might work with Titan, or might not.

AOD... I have no idea. It looks like this is more a display manufacturer, and not a brand for screens. I didn't find any data about software or drivers these displays require or come with.
