problems with Diamond II console

Hellow,
i have the following problems with a diamond II console that hasn't got software updates since it was bought.
* As it's the oldest software, i think it's normal there ain't no library of fixture in the cache memory, right?
* the disks must be 720kb disks, when i format one of these with de console en put it in my pc to copy the personalitie files to it and put it back into the console to patch them, the console reasd the disk but doesn't show any fixtures, but returns to the patch menu. Is it possible that the personalitie files can only be used with the latest software?
* i read that software updates are only possible with a map pcb type 5000C but mine is 5000A, what do i have to do about this? replace this?
* i can't put the new software on a disk because that is larger than 720 kb so unusable for the console...
* also there couldn't be any ectended memory detected
can someone help me with this problem as i want the console to be runner as fast as possible of course...
thanx!
