Hi,
I'm working on a show in a few weeks and the console is an expert running titan, i've never used an expert running titan, but i have alot of experience with the tiger touch. Just wondering is there alot of difference between them? obviously same OS but i'm presuming you patch palletes like the old classics (if you've not got a touch wing) etc. Are there any massive differences?
Thanks
Josh

You should find out some minor things before:
- is it a black or a white Expert? -> no functional difference, but different labelling of some buttons
- is it running Titan, is this updated to the latest version? -> Pearl Expert can be switched to run in Classic mode, and some folks are still using it this way, and are obviously omitting all the updates (I just updated such a machine from Titan 2 a couple of weeks ago)
- does it have a Touchwing connected? -> this is optional
Assuming that it runs the latest Titan and has a Wing (or at least a touchscreen), then the major differences are how the controls are spread over the devices; however, the main programming section is the same. There was a similar thread some weeks ago, let me just search it for you... (probably Nick is quicker again

Tiger touch vers expert touch
The tiger touch has a much more fluid work flow as the software is designed to fit the desk, expert touch ... well its kind of a hybrid of two desks so things appear in wierd places.... if u can do it go tiger touch, if u need more faders add a midi wing or another dmx desk trough the dmx in function and if u have the money add an extra touch screen, u wont go wrong!
