I have installed the new Pearl 2004 software on our Pearl 2004.
This worked fine until getting problems with entering fixture list.
When trying to open fixture list the error "Disk errors" appeard.
Loading fixtures from floppy disks is no problen.
Does this have anything to do with HD errors?

During the installation of the Pearl 2004 v.1 software, the personality files in the cache are deleted but not replaced by new ones.

Thus you have to execute "Cache Personality Files" under System>Utilities.

For that purpose you can use

The P2000PER.CMP file included in the floppy disk that you created to install the software.

The current P2000PER.CMP file in the Avolites Fixture Personality Library

Your own P2000PER.CMP constructed by yourself with the Cache Builder
