Maybe someone else can elaborate more than me...

No, this is not possible. showsafe was designed to be used with the Diamond 4.

OK now I'm curious, as Avolites advertising shows both the Pearl Expert and the Tiger Touch with the Show Safe and definitley lists it as an option for the PE. :D

I've never tried it but can't think of any reason why not. It might have been designed originally for the d4 but I have used it with Titan PE since the beginning.

It is essentially exactly the same as a PE or TT but without the control surface. You connect two USB cables from the two console hub connectors to the any of the showsafe hub ports. The showsafe should be loaded with the same software as the main console.

When you change the two hub switches from 'normal' position the panels all connect to the showsafe processor. If you open USB console in both devices you can see the panels disappear from one and appear in the other. Note that this includes the DMX panels meaning your output will still work even though it is connected to the console (assuming you are using Expert DMX. ArtNet would have to be switched to the showsafe ethernet port).

Currently there is no tracking backup or automated function to sync shows so you must manually save from console to USB and load into showsafe. I wait until all programming is complete, transfer and test by switching over and back again.

The only issue is that the VGA screens do not get switched over to the ShowSafe so you would have to have a separate monitor, mouse and keyboard connected to the ShowSafe to allow you to access the workspace windows. This will also be an issue on the Pearl Expert but if you have most things patched on physical buttons and faders it will not be so much of a problem.

ok. Do you now get DMX from the Show Safe, or do you still use the Tiger Touch output?

When the Tiger Touch is switched over to the Show Safe the DMX outputs on the Tiger Touch would be controlled from the Show Safe. This means that when you switch over you can leave the DMX cables connected to the Tiger Touch. Note if you intend to use Art-Net at all, you would need a disable the Art-Net output from the one you are not using to avoid them sending out mixed signals - it may also be possible to use some sort of Art-Net merger but I am not familiar with these.
