Pearl 2008 and media servers

I'm quite ignorant about video servers and how they operate but was wondering if it is possible to trigger video cues from a Pearl 2008 to a server such as Hippotizer or Axon? Thanks

Essentially yes.

In general, this is exactly what mediaservers were developed for in the first place. You'll need one which features real DMX-input. Then, for the console, it's just a DMX-fixture. You can select media clips, apply effects, make adjustments - all DMX-controlled.

However, usually this involves some learning of how the very mediaserver works. Each one is different...
