V6 update USB's

Postby hjige » 07 Sep 2012, 10:59

Hello!

I've got a Pearl Expert running v5 for the moment. I've tried to update it to v6, but can't install the new BIOS. The desk says it cannot update from the USB that I've got (Kingston 16gb).

So I was wondering what USB-sticks people have tried and been successful with.

All best! /H

There's a thread here that has some information. Sounds like it is too big. I recommend either 2 or 4GB.

I was having the same problems. When I talked to our IT guy he said that a Bootable USB drive had to be 4GB or Less. USed a 2GB drive and every thing worked fine.
