Pan / Tilt issues - Chauvet Intimidator Spot 350

Postby nrosten » 18 Aug 2012, 08:02

Hi All,

wondering if anyone had any issues with Pan / Tilt on the above or other moving heads on V6 with Titan mobile ?

basically got 8 of them which all worth perfectly on currently programmed chases / shapes.
P/T gobo / zoom / colour all fine.

when i manually select one of these fixtures to create a new program I can locate it and change pretty much everything bar the Pan and tilt. When i try to move the pan / tilt wheels you can see a small minor movement of the spots as if its 'trying' to move. Its a bit odd as I would of thought if the DMX address was up the creek none of the current programs would work? oddly if i close the software and go back in again there is a small chance the control of these lights comes alive again.

The upgrade went on ok for V6 - I assume firmware or usb side on the mobile does not need upgrading as the instruction seems to refer to the bigger consoles on this part.

any help or hints would be appreciated as its stoppoing me from creating any new proigrams on these lights.

Many Thanks
Neil

Though not related to the issue you are having, there is an update to the Titan Mobile firmware in version 6. The new firmware can be updated by going to the Service tab in USB Expert Console.

I have corrected the library and uploaded it to the website.

Please get in touch if you have any further issues.
